Dopo trentatré anni dall’ultima grande retrospettiva, Darmstadt ospita nuovamente Afro con un’ampia mostra antologica.

Novantaquattro dipinti per ripercorrere la vicenda artistica del pittore friulano, accompagnati da alcuni gioielli e dai relativi studi preparatori per documentare anche l’attività incisoria.

Il percorso espositivo, iniziando dagli esordi figurativi e passando attraverso il periodo in cui l’artista si avvicinò temporaneamente al Neocubismo, giunge alla definitiva scelta astratta con una selezione delle opere degli anni ’50 e 60’ e delle ultime opere nella carriera dell’artista proprie degli anni ’70.Catalogo a cura di Klaus Wolbert, con testi di K.
