Apertura straordinaria della sede Centrale sita nell’ Edificio del Piacentini (1934-37) a Roma in via Vittorio Veneto, 119 , pensato appositamente quale sede della Banca per proiettare nel lussuoso, recente quartiere a ridosso di Porta Pinciana, l’idea di forza e affidabilità. I suoi ampi corridoi e saloni sono arricchiti da affreschi, statue antiche e da una quadreria che annovera capolavori quali Giuditta ed Oloferne del Lotto, La Madonna Albani del Barocci, un Capriccio del miglior Canaletto. L’epoca moderna è rappresentata da pitture di Corot, Morandi, Severini, Afro.
