New York New York! La riscoperta dell’America. Artisti italiani negli Stati Uniti (1930-1968)

Milano 12 aprile – 17 settembre 2017

Gli Stati Uniti nell’arte italiana dal Futurismo alla Pop Art al Museo del Novecento e Gallerie d’Italia a Milano. Una  mostra tematica su due sedi che raccoglierà opere di artisti come Afro, Alberto Burri, Lucio Fontana, Giorgio De Chirico, Fortunato Depero e altri grandi protagonisti del secolo passato. La mostra ricostruirà il percorso degli artisti italiani che a partire dagli anni ‘30 del Novecento strinsero rapporti con il mondo dell’arte americano.
